# Organization > The organization is the space your team works in within CIRO NOISE. Members, permissions, subscription and all content belong to exactly one organization, and a person can be a member of several organizations. - Page: https://www.ciro-noise.de/glossar/organisation - Deutsche Fassung: https://www.ciro-noise.de/glossar/organisation.md An organization in CIRO NOISE usually matches your company. It is the closed space your team works in: wiki pages, tasks, customer records, invoices and working hours all live inside it, and each person only sees the data of the organization they are currently working in. If you sign up without an invitation, you get your own organization automatically. A setup assistant asks for a name, short code, industry and color theme, and you can add your company details right away or later. The short code appears in the app's address and stays your identifier. All settings live in the Organization area, including Members, Rights and roles, Features, Appearance and Plan & billing. ## How organizations work in CIRO NOISE Everything created in CIRO NOISE belongs to exactly one organization. That includes the subscription, the roles and the API keys. On every access, CIRO NOISE checks that it belongs to the caller's own organization, and automated tests guard that rule. One person can be a member of several organizations, for example a tax advisor working for two clients. Using Switch organization in the menu, she jumps from one to the other and has her own role in each. As an owner you can create up to five organizations yourself. Under Organization › Features you switch off areas your team doesn't need. They disappear from the menu for every member, even if a role would allow them. ## An everyday example An owner runs a carpentry shop and a small rental business as separate companies. He creates two organizations. The carpentry shop has six members and its own subscription, the rental business just him and his wife on the two free seats. Invoices, receipts and customer records stay strictly separate, and he switches between the two in two clicks. ## Deleting and taking your data with you Owners and admins can create a full data export under Organization › Data & deletion. Only an owner can request the deletion itself, confirming it with a code that CIRO NOISE sends by email. From the moment of the request the organization is locked, and booked seats are cancelled at the end of the period. Within 30 days an owner can withdraw the request. ## Frequently asked questions about Organization ### Can I have several organizations in CIRO NOISE? Yes. A person can be a member of several CIRO NOISE organizations and switches between them with Switch organization in the menu. As an owner you can create up to five organizations yourself. ### Can members of one organization see another organization's data? No. Every organization in CIRO NOISE is closed off, and every access is checked against the caller's own organization. Even a person in two organizations only ever sees the data of the one currently selected. ### Who can delete an organization in CIRO NOISE? Only an owner deletes an organization, under Organization › Data & deletion, confirmed with a code sent by email. The deletion can be withdrawn within 30 days. ### Does each organization have its own subscription? Yes. In CIRO NOISE, subscription, seats and AI allowance always belong to exactly one organization.
