Some ideas are easier to draw than to write down: the layout of a new home page, a five-step process or the results of a workshop. For that, CIRO NOISE has concept boards, a free canvas like a digital whiteboard.
You find them in the Concept boards feature, organized by projects and clients. A board can belong to a project or directly to a client. Unlike a standalone whiteboard, it is connected to your tasks and your wiki.
How a concept board works in CIRO NOISE
On the canvas you draw shapes, arrows and text and simply drag in images. With “Insert” you place tasks, wiki pages and people on the board as cards. The cards always show the current title and status from their feature, and a person placed on the board gets a notification.
The board saves automatically. When several people work on the same board, CIRO NOISE merges the team's changes without bringing deleted elements back. Text on the canvas can be found through the global search.
Permissions and clients
Every card follows the permissions of the person viewing the board. Someone who can't read a task only sees “No access” on the board. Reading and drawing require the concept boards permission, and without write access the board is read-only.
If the board belongs to a project you share with a client, the client sees it in the project room and draws along when allowed to contribute. Mark the board as internal and it stays with your team.
An everyday example
Kira sketches the concept board “New home page” with Mr Brandt. She places tasks BRA-50 to BRA-53 as cards next to the sketch, Mr Brandt drags in two images from his folder and adds his wishes. Afterwards the team can see on the board which task belongs to which part of the page.
