Many small companies work on client projects and send updates back and forth by email. With project guests you bring your client's contacts straight into the project. They see the status themselves, comment in the right place and complete their own tasks.
In CIRO NOISE every client project you share gets a project room with tasks, wiki, concept boards and files. You invite project guests on the client's page under People. The invitation covers all projects you share with that client.
How a project guest works in CIRO NOISE
You invite a contact from the customer record by email, up to 50 people at once if you like. The invitation link is valid for 14 days and can only be accepted with exactly the invited email address. Before the first invitation, CIRO NOISE shows how many tasks, comments, wiki pages and files the client will see.
There are two levels. “View” means read and comment. “Contribute” also means adding requests, editing tasks and wiki pages, and being assigned. Depending on your setting, the client's requests land in the inbox first or go straight onto the board. For each client you choose whether the project room addresses the client formally or informally in German.
What a project guest doesn't see
Tasks, wiki pages, concept boards and files you mark as internal stay invisible to project guests, as do archived tasks. A project guest is not a member of your organization and has no access to other features such as Finance or Support. If they look for a project that isn't shared, they don't even learn that it exists. With “Customer view” you check beforehand what they will see.
You can revoke access at any time. After that the project guest can no longer open the project room.
An everyday example
Kira invites Mr Brandt as a project guest with “Contribute” to the project “Website relaunch”. He sketches the new home page with her on a concept board, comments on task BRA-52 and completes his own task of delivering the copy. He doesn't see the internal costing or Kira's notes, and he needs no subscription for any of it.
